Broad Peak, Netflix’s new adventure drama, follows the life of Polish mountaineer Maciej Berbeka and his legacy as one of the country’s best mountaineers. The video also delves into his untimely death in 2013 atop Broad Peak. Although Berbeka’s body was never identified, he was declared dead shortly after he and another climber failed to reach the camp. Broad Peak, directed by Leszek David and written by Lukasz Ludkowski with producers including Dawid Janicki, Krzysztof Rzaczynski and Maciej Rzaczynsk, focuses on Berbeka’s second expedition to the mountains 25 years later, following a journey His first was abandoned.
