Curtis “50 Cent” Johnson Jackson recently announced that he won’t be renewing his contract with Starz, which hosts shows like the Power series, and fans are overjoyed at the potential for opportunities. “I want to thank BET for giving me the Hustler of the Year award. No one from the music industry has achieved success in television production. I currently have 25 shows and have done some substantial deals outside of television. My contract with STARZ expires tomorrow.”

According to Deadline Hollywood, he’s reviewing proposals from other studios and streaming services for his G-Unit Movies & TV, which currently has 25 projects in the works. This signaled the end of 50 Cent’s ten-year relationship with Starz.

While the Power series, starring the rapper as well as an executive producer, ended in 2020, it was extended into three sequels.
