A Time Called You Ending Explained

In the final episode of A Time Called You, we see a complex resolution. The story revolves around Han Jun-hee, who time-travels to 1998 after losing her love in 2023. She inhabits the body of a girl named Kwon Min-ju and meets Nam Si-heon, who resembles her lost love. Tragedy strikes as Min-ju contemplates suicide due to feeling trapped and alone, but is saved.

Jun-hee, in 2023, uses a cassette tape to go back to the moment before Min-ju’s suicide and changes the course of events. She reassures Min-ju, apologizes for her actions, and decides to let things unfold naturally. Jun-hee erases her own memories, including those of her lost love, Yeon-jun.

In the end, in 2011, Si-heon recognized Jun-hee on a bus. She doesn’t remember their past encounters because she technically never existed as Min-ju. Si-heon recalls everything and gets a fresh start with Jun-hee, offering them a chance for a new romance. So, to simplify, Jun-hee uses time travel to save Min-ju and erase her own memories. Si-heon and Jun-hee meet again in a new beginning, free from their past.
