At the end of Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2, there’s a dramatic encounter between the long-lost twin brothers, Eunseom and Saya. Mubaek, who knows their true identities, arranges for them to meet in a secluded place without their armor and swords.
However, Saya has sinister intentions and secretly orders one of his subordinates to kill Eunseom during their discussion. This dark plan is observed by Chaeeun, who starts following them. Along the way, she encounters two Neanthals, and they all head toward the meeting place.
When Eunseom and Saya finally meet, they recognize each other as the individuals they’ve seen in their dreams for a long time. Eunseom invites Saya to join the Ago Union and work together, aware of Saya’s ambitions related to Tagon.
Before Eunseom can reveal Saya’s real name, a Shahiti arrives with orders to kill Saya. A fierce brawl ensues, and despite Eunseom fatally wounding the Shahiti, the boy attempts to burn down the hut with both brothers inside. Just in the nick of time, Mubaek arrives to rescue Saya, and Eunseom is saved as well.
Tragically, Mubaek doesn’t survive his injuries, and Arthdal soldiers eventually arrive at the scene, mistaking the unconscious Eunseom for Saya. This unexpected twist sets the stage for further conflicts and revelations in the unfolding story of Arthdal Chronicles.

Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 2 Review
Arthdal Chronicles Season 2, Episode 2, titled “The Sword of Aramoon,” is quite exciting. It’s been eight years since the last season, and we can see how much the characters have grown and changed. One of the most surprising changes is in the Wahan tribe. Even someone like Yeolsom, who used to be simple-minded, is now showing a strong desire for power.
Tanya, on the other hand, demonstrates her newfound power to Tagon in her own unique way. And Eunseom makes sure Saya understands the threat he poses. There’s also a sense of tension between Tagon and Tanya. It seems Tagon is either afraid of her or angry with her because of some bracelets.
A lot is happening in Arthdal right now, and it’s getting more complicated with each episode. However, it’s unfortunate that we won’t be seeing much of Mubaek anymore, and that’s quite sad.
