Island is a fantasy action film based on the webtoon of the same name. The show is set in the lovely yet mysterious Jeju province, and it will follow the journeys and adventures of the main characters as they battle an evil entity that wants to destroy the entire planet. Kim Nam Gil will play Pan, an immortal monster who has protected the earth from evil forces for countless centuries. Lee Da-hee will play Won Mi-ho, the heir to a wealthy family conglomerate sent to Jeju Island after causing problems at home.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo will play priest John on the big screen. Father John is a Roman Catholic priest who performs exorcisms. John is considered the youngest exorcist in the world, and he is sent to Jeju to fight the evil that plagues the area. Sung Joon, who starred in Hyde, Jekyll, and Me, is also expected to appear in the film. Sung Joon will play the role of Gung-tan, an ally of Pan who was raised with the same goal of fighting off the evil forces that are threatening the planet.
However, a split is formed in the bond between Gung-tan and Pan, causing Gung-tan to compete with him. To gain an advantage over his opponent, Gung-tan switched sides and found himself facing Pan. Go Doo-shim and Park Geun-hyung, both veteran actors, have been hired to play supporting roles in the next series.
