Kyle Viljoen, star of Under Deck Mediterranean season 7, just revealed her engagement to boyfriend Zachary K. Riley on Instagram. Kyle proposed to the couple on November 8, 2022, while they were visiting Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa, with friends and family.
His post stated:
“Zachary and I are officially engaged, and I want to thank my universe for loving me completely, wanting, and completely intending to be mine forever.”
Zachary also pinned the Instagram photo to his profile. Kyle’s best friend Natasha Webb and many of the Mediterranean performers below deck, including Storm Smith, Dave White and Courtney Veale, praised him in the comments.
Zachary K. Riley is involved in a number of volunteer initiatives.
Kyle Viljoen is a boat chef and reality TV celebrity, while Zachary K. Riley is a physiotherapist. According to his LinkedIn page, Zachary worked as a physiotherapist intern from 2018 to 2020. He then took a full-time position at SPEAR Physiotherapy, LLC, where he will stay until February 2021. He currently works at NYU Langone Health.
The native New Yorker received a bachelor of science degree from the State University of New York College at Oswego before attending Stony Brook University to pursue a Ph. in Physiotherapy. He also participates in a number of volunteer programs.
According to Zachary’s LinkedIn bio:
“With a long history of interest in the field of rehabilitation, I have been observing in the clinic since 2013.” In 2020, I obtained my PhD in Physiotherapy from Stony Brook University, where I gained knowledge and experience as a practicing physiotherapist in a variety of settings, from acute care to outpatient specialties including pelvic floor, oncology and orthopedics.”
It continued:
“Through these internships, I was able to hone my abilities in clinical reasoning and develop unique treatment plans for each patient.” My abilities extend beyond my clinical expertise and education in this area. As the class president, I have become self-aware of what it takes to be a leader and function effectively as part of a team of diverse personalities.”

The Mediterranean fans below the Deck have a love-hate connection with Kyle Viljoen. They despise him for his relationship with Natasha Webb, but they admire him for his lovable personality. Kyle almost discovered his soul mate in one of the episodes of Season 7.
A charter guest flirted with Kyle named Frank Fay in episode 8. This guy broke the rules that could lead to him being fired. Fans were heartbroken over the passing of Frank and Kyle because their love looked so real at the time. However, the plot was canceled when they said their goodbyes.
Meanwhile, the final episode of Under Deck Mediterranean season 7 will air next week, with Kyle back on the boat. In the previous episode, he left after injuring his ankle. Natasha requested a new stew on his behalf as he was unable to work, however, at the time, Captain Sandy Yawn insisted that Kyle was not fired. As a result, he reunited with his team in a future episode trailer. Beneath the Mediterranean Deck season 7 premieres on Bravo on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
