Best in Dough brings together pizza-obsessed participants from all walks of life to compete in crafting pizzas of unusual flavors and designs for a chance to win $10,000. The first three episodes of Best in Dough will be available on Hulu on Monday, September 19 at 12:01 a.m. ET, and the next three episodes will be available on the same platform next Monday, September 26 The final four episodes will be available on Hulu on October 3 at 12:01 a.m. ET.
Adam Wells, former Bachelorette nominee and pizza enthusiast will host the show. Chef Daniele Uditi will serve as the show’s head chef, while judges will include chef Millie Peartree, culinary influencer Eunji Kim, and baker Bryan Ford.
Best in Dough contests, pizza making challenges, etc
Each episode of Finest in Dough will have three contestants with similar backgrounds, occupations, or ages try to bake the best pizzas to win $10,000 and the title of Best in Dough. Host Adam Wells will put participants through two rounds of intense challenges. Tasks, as shown in the trailer, can range from not using dough to making pizza or cupcakes. Each task will motivate participants to create delicious pizza combinations with different flavors.
The first three episodes of Best in Dough, due out September 19, will pit Nonnas (Italian grandmother), social media influencers, and pit managers against each other. The next three episodes will feature intense pizza making battles between local US pizzerias, world champion pizza chefs, and college students.
Three teams of mother and son, three chefs from Mexico, Japan and Brazil, three chefs from the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland and Detroit) and three high-class culinary chefs will compete to produce delicious pizza best of the last four episodes of the show.
Who is Wells Adams, host of Best in Dough?
Wells Adams, a professional radio DJ from Monterey, California, was born in 1984. Wells was on The Bachelorette Season 12 but was eliminated after a six-week direct date with Joelle Fletcher. He then joined Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise but was eliminated following his divorce from Ashley Iaconetti. In the fourth season, he took over the position of hotel bartender for Jorge Moreno, a position he held for four seasons.
Since 2017, Wells Adams has been dating Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland. The couple proposed in 2019 and plan to get married in August 2020. However, because of the covid-19 epidemic, they postponed the plan and finally held the wedding on August 20, 2022.
