Coolio A Famous Rapper Passed Away At The Age Of 59

Coolio, a famous rapper, died on September 28 at the age of 59. Jarez Posey, the rapper’s manager, confirmed the death and said he died at a friend’s house. His manager at Trinity Artists International, Sheila Finegan, also revealed the news, saying the rapper had “touched the world with his gift of music.” Finegan continued:

“He will be very missed. Thank you to everyone who listened to his music and who reached out in response to his death. Please keep Coolio’s family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Coolio’s Death

Artis Leon Ivey Jr., the artist’s real name, died while visiting a friend. Jarez said that the rapper went to the bathroom but didn’t come back for a long time. When his companion burst into the toilet, he found the rapper motionless on the floor. According to Posey, paramedics suspect Coolio died of a heart attack, but the official cause of death has yet to be confirmed. According to law enforcement officials, no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene. They say an autopsy and toxicology tests will reveal the main cause of his death. Around 4 pm, medical staff went to the house of a friend of the rapper and announced that the rapper had died on the spot.

According to recent developments, an investigation has been initiated, but no evidence of wrongdoing has been found. After the autopsy, the coroner is expected to provide more details.

Coolio has appeared in reality series such as Celebrity Big Brother.

Coolio, born August 1, 1963, attended Compton Community College and began his career as a volunteer firefighter and security guard at Los Angeles International Airport. In 1987, he released his debut song, in 1991, he joined WC and Maad Circle. In 1994, the rapper signed to Tommy Boy Records and released his first album, It Takes a Thief. The album peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200 and the songs were well received by the public.

In 1995, he recorded the song Gangsta’s Paradise, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. My Soul, his third album, was released in 1997 and although it went platinum it did not match the popularity of his previous two albums.

The musician was fired by Tommy Boy Records, and he recorded several singles that were not well received by the public. He was later featured on F**k the DJ, a collaboration tune by rapper Blacklisted MC. In 2004, he appeared on the German talent show Comeback – Die grobe Chance, and in 2009 he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. He has also starred in reality series such as Ultimate Big Brother, Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, and Wife Swap. He has appeared in films such as The Nanny and Black Jesus in small parts.
