Daisy May Cooper was born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, on 1 August 1986. Cooper attended Cirencester Deer Park School before attending the Royal College of Dramatic Art in London. Daisy May Cooper revealed in an interview with the New York Post that she auditioned to be a dancer in her teens and was struggling with money.

Daisy May Cooper makes her big debut with This Country, a BBC fantasy series in which she plays the title character Kerry Mucklowee. Her performance in the film has received much praise. Her other notable performance accomplishments include, to name a few, David Copperfield’s Personal Biography, 5th Avenue, and Am I Ridiculous? Cooper will play the lead role of Costello in Rain Dogs. Costello overcomes numerous obstacles to keep his daughter safe. The series depicts her interactions with various individuals in her life, as well as how she comes to terms with the terrible truths around her.
