Brittany Cherry, DWTS season 31 choreographer, married her longtime boyfriend Bryan Agnew on September 18, 2022. The 28-year-old professional dancer’s wedding took place at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, california. Bryan Agnew is an employee of Netflix’s Sales Department.
Cherry and Agnew’s wedding ceremony was attended by 80 people, including Jenna Johnson, a professional dancer who participated in DWTS and So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). Several DWTS co-stars were unable to attend Cherry’s wedding due to camera blocking as season 31 of the show was scheduled to premiere on September 19, the day after her wedding.

Bryan J Agnew has been a member of Netflix’s Business Affairs team since 2018. The Los Angeles native previously worked as an assistant for the United Talent Agency, according to his LinkedIn page. Agnew worked as a bartender for Hospitality Unlimited Inc. and The Fat Dog for 10 months before entering the entertainment business. His first vacancies were for a service specialist at Talking Rain Beverage in Preston, Washington and a recruiter at Insight Global (Bellevue). He graduated from Kentwood High School and later attended Bellevue College, where he received his Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degrees, Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. He then went on to earn an LLB from the University of Washington.
Bryan initially met Brittany Cherry through their mutual friend Stefano Langone. The latter is Agnew’s roommate and band member on DWTS (2017) during Cherry’s choreography. Although Cherry and Agnew didn’t have their first click, they later reunited and fell in love. According to People, Agnew proposed to the dancer in 2020 “during a trip through Malibu Canyon”.

Brittany Cherry appeared not only on DWTS but also on SYTYCD and Shakira-Nick Jonas’ Come Dance With Me. She is also one of the dancers in the Ed Sheeran song Thinking Out Loud video. She told People magazine at her wedding why the couple chose to wear basic outfits on their big day:
“I am a ballerina, and I have spent my life wearing these lovely dresses and costumes.” I wanted something classic, beautiful, elegant and not too decorative. I spotted a really gorgeous outfit and thought to myself, ‘Oh, this is great, but I’m not sure.’”
She continued:
“So I live my life – fast-forward until I actually go clothes shopping and I go to four different stores and I see this identical dress in several stores and I like, ‘Oh, it’s gorgeous.’” I went back to Kinsey James [in West Hollywood] and try on every outfit I can think of. I was still thinking, ‘Ah, that dress is beautiful,’ so I chose the one I found a year ago.”
