Dead by daylight
Dead by Daylight is an online survival horror game developed by Behavior Interactive, a Canadian studio. This is an asymmetrical multiplayer game where one player becomes the Killer, while the other four players take on the role of Survivor. The Killer’s goal is to tie each Survivor to a sacrificial hook to please the Entity, a malevolent force. On the other hand, the Survivors must work together to repair generators and avoid capture, powering the exit gates.
The game features original characters as well as licensed characters and settings from popular franchises such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Attack on Titan, Crypt TV, Evil Dead, Halloween, Hellraiser, Iron Maiden, Left 4 Dead, Naughty Bear, Nicolas Cage, Resident Evil, Ringu, Saw, Silent Hill, Slipknot, Stranger Things and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Dead by Daylight was originally released for Windows in 2016, followed by versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017, Nintendo Switch in 2019, and Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X/ S in 2020. In 2023, it achieved Steam Deck Verified status. The game was published by Starbreeze Studios until 2018 when Behavior Interactive acquired the publishing rights.
The Nintendo Switch version is published by 505 Games and physical copies for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are published by Deep Silver. Although the game received mixed reviews upon release, it was a commercial success and has amassed over 50 million players. Currently, a movie adaptation of the game is being developed by Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster Productions.

- Kid’s Ball Glove – Reduces overclock time by 15% (was 25%)
- Foreign plant fiber – changed Rarity rating to Very Rare (very rare)
- The rest are cremated – changed to “Survivors affected by the Stream are temporarily blind.” (formerly Killer Instinct)
- Nanomachine Gel – changed Rarity Rating to Rare (very rare), reduced Damaged Status Effect to 30 seconds. (is 40 seconds)
- Request form rejected – changed Rarity rating to Extremely Rare (which is Very Rare)
- Soma family photo – changed Rarity rating to Very Rare (formerly Extremely Rare), Overclocking Mode drop is now -20% (previously -50%)

- Fixed an issue that caused survivors to walk or crouch while standing in the Torture Trail to retain the standing animation during testing against The Executioner.
- Nightmare can now correctly place Dream Pallets in a location that previously contained a fragile Pallet.

Twisted masquerade
When the Masquerade Pillar disappears after the Exit Gate or Vault opens, the appropriate vanishing VFX is now played correctly
The masquerade column now does not appear when the trapdoor or exit gate is opened
When the Killer interacts with the Invitation Tower, the regular interaction icon is now displayed
As the Twins, Masquerade Invitation’s UI now correctly updates when switching from Victor to Charlotte.
Survivors knocked down while interacting with Pillars can now be correctly picked up by the Killer

Game Dead by Daylight
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game in which one player plays the role of the Killer, while the other four players act as the Survivor. Survivors’ goal is to escape the challenge by repairing the generator to power the exit gates. The goal of the Killer is to tie all the Survivors to the hook before they can escape.
If there is only one Survivor left, they can either attempt to find an escape route or be sacrificed by the Entity. Survivors can be injured, hooked, and rescued by others. Once hooked, the Survivors enter a struggle phase and must fight the Entity. If they get hooked a third time, they will die.
Survivors can sprint, walk, crouch or crawl and must hide from the Killer by hiding and losing sight. The killer has unique powers and abilities, such as stealth or the use of a chainsaw. Killers with a terror radius trigger a heartbeat sound and a red light indicating their presence. Some Killers can suppress these stats, surprising the Survivors.
Survivors can search for useful items in the chest such as maps, keys, and medical kits. The game features multiple Killers and Survivors, each with their own playstyle and strengths. Dead by Daylight offers intense multiplayer matches with strategic gameplay elements, creating an immersive horror experience.
Dead by Daylight storyline
In Dead by Daylight, Entity is an otherworldly terror drawn by violence and malice. It forces the Killers, often serial killers or tragic figures, to hunt down and kill the Survivors. The entity that feeds the emotions and souls of the Sacrifice.
Survivors find themselves trapped in the Realm’s realm, drawn as they wander to certain places, or captured at the moment of death. They rest at a campfire between trials, where offerings can be made to attract Entities. Each trial occurs in a kingdom connected to the history of the Killer. Escape the challenge of returning the Survivors to the campfire.
Entity acts as an impartial observer, helping both the Survivor and the Killer. The game features separate storylines for each of the Survivors and Killers, explaining their abilities and how they reached the Realm’s realm. These base stories are expanded through regular releases of “Tomes” and a battle called “The Rift”.
