eaJ Burst Into Tears During His Recent Instagram Live

eaJ (actual name Jae Park) of Day6 broke down in tears during a recent Instagram live. The idol, who just finished his eaJ 2022 Asia Tour Live, did a live broadcast after his gigs in Singapore and Taipei to thank his fans. During a live performance, the singer said that he often receives letters from fans thanking him for saving their lives, while in truth, it is the other way around.

eaJ then thanked his fans for their continuous support through some of his most difficult periods, saying:

“I read in many messages that you men claim I saved your life, but in reality… I believe I would have died in January if it hadn’t been for you.”

“You are a fighter:” Fans show their love and support for eaJ’s Instagram Live.

What else did he mention throughout the Livestream?

For the uninitiated, the Argentina-born singer left his long-time label JYP Entertainment and the K-pop group DAY6 in January, soon after openly criticizing the firm for not promoting his solo work. Later that month, Jae faced harsh criticism for making improper remarks towards Jamie (Jimin), his buddy and former labelmate, on a Twitch broadcast. Though Jamie has allegedly moved on from the event, Jae has called it in an interview one of the worst “f*ck-ups” of his life:

During Instagram live, he reflected on those occasions and said:

“I really, truly appreciate you guys sticking by my side for so long with all of the things that occurred, my blunders, and all of my human difficulties.” But I’m trying my best to learn, and I appreciate your help.”

The 30-year-old, who has not shied away from sharing mental health issues with fans, went on to explain that even during difficult times, there is always hope, but “you have to push through” to find it. He stated that, although it wasn’t easy, he did it throughout his gigs in Singapore and Taipei, and that it was “all worth it.”

Finally, he stated:

“I adore you two. I’ll never be able to thank you for all you’ve done for me. So I’m going to keep going and keep working hard for you people. Thank you very much.”

Fans react to eaJ’s live

Many of the artist’s admirers were brought to tears after seeing him cry during the live performance. They came out in his support and praised him for being strong in the face of adversity. Fans were also happy of the singer and how far he has progressed in his career. One follower remarked, “you are a fighter,” thanking him for his endurance, while another added, “thankyou for deciding to press on.”
