This leads the spectator to a scene in which the two girls are unintentionally involved in a dangerous counterfeit conspiracy that jeopardizes their connection and possibly their futures. When only one of them gets imprisoned, the truth of their greatest lie becomes murky. Each occurrence is told from the occasionally contradicting perspective of a single individual.

Emilija Baranac allegedly described the titular characters in an interview, stating,

“The identical scenario will often appear in two episodes with minor variations. The audience is on the edge of their seat as Zoe and Rebecca struggle for the final word, attempting to find out what occurred.”

Baranac also touted the series as a “new and humorous perspective on a high school relationship,” adding that viewers would get a glimpse inside the “complicated and chaotic” lives of both main characters.
