Sex Education star Emma Mackey recently talked about how fans compared her to Margot Robbie. In an interview with Total Film on Wednesday, September 14, Mackey admitted that while she doesn’t mind the similarities, she wants to “go beyond that. “She stated:
“It doesn’t bother me. Margot Robbie is calling. Are you serious? She is unmatched. I really admire her. I don’t care about similarities. However, it would be great to move on from there.”

She said (via GamesRadar+) that the resemblance is ” funny” and a “joke”. “It is simply fun. And I believe Margot has the grace and intelligence to exploit that, allowing me to be in the same picture as her – bless her. In fact, it was just a joke. “We’re not the same,” I thought.

Some fans were overjoyed when it was announced that Mackey had joined Margot Robbie’s Barbie cast earlier this year. In the interview, she also mentioned her desire to collaborate with Greta Girwig, the Barbie filmmaker. She calls Girwig her “hero” and expresses her admiration for her.
