This quest is accessible after you have successfully completed the depth-related specific main quests. To begin this adventure, you must first locate Hateno Village in TotK’s game world. When you arrive at Hateno Village, you will meet Robbie, an attractive character that plays an important role in the game.

Robbie’s main mission is to strengthen the Purah Pad, an important piece of equipment that allows the Temple Sensor to be installed. This upgrade will greatly assist you in your exploration of the game world and in your journey to uncover the secrets and mysteries that lie ahead.

How do I unlock Robbie’s Hateno Village?

At the beginning of the main story, when you chat with Robbie, the chief architect of Purah Pad, he will inform you of the many new upgrades he can install for you. Hateno Village is located in the southeast region of Hyrule in Necluda. It can be found on the south side of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. Starting at Lookout Landing, follow the path southeast until you reach the bridge over the Hylia River. Continue following the path to the east. Prioritize activating the Zanmik Temple for fast travel to Hateno Village, at least until Robbie establishes a fast travel to his lab.

  • For starters, you’ll find yourself in Lookout Landing in Hyrule Field. From there, you have to make your way to Hateno Village, located in East Necluda, south of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.
  • Take the path south from Lookout Landing and keep going southeast to reach your destination.
  • When you get to the Hateno Ancient Technology Lab, where Robbie is, start a conversation with him. He will give you a Sensor, a valuable tool that allows you to detect the presence of nearby temples.
  • To test the Sensor’s functionality, slowly walk towards the window near the entrance to the lab. When you approach the window, the Sensor will detect the presence of a temple.
  • Then go to the foothills where the lab is located. There, you will pass through a cave entrance. Enter the cave and you will see the Mayahisik Temple on the right side. Reach the temple to update the progress of the side adventure.
