Her boyfriend Scott’s marriage proposal, which took place over the weekend of July 4, was an elaborately choreographed surprise. Scott Litner found a special occasion to ask questions during a visit to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, one of Kelly’s favorite summer getaways. He chose to propose on a romantic cruise, providing an intimate and splendid setting for the momentous occasion.

Scott used the boat tour to gift Kelly a beautiful, handcrafted emerald-cut 5-carat diamond ring from NYC jeweler Material Good. Scott added a bit of heartfelt emotion to the proposal, making it even more meaningful. He takes Kelly to a place she remembers from her childhood, a place of great memories and deep feelings of attachment. Kelly Bensimon’s engagement was made public at the Bravo’s Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake premiere party, when the couple made their first public appearance since the news. Kelly Bensimon married for the second time. She was previously married to Gilles Bensimon, a renowned fashion photographer, with whom she has two children, Sea (25) and Teddy (23). Their marriage lasted from 1997 to 2006, it is seen that Kelly is currently starting a new marriage to Scott Litner. Kelly Bensimon has also made strides in her career. She is currently working as a real estate agent at Douglas Elliman and plans to return to television.
