Kyle Rittenhouse Is Criticized For His Content On His New YouTube Channel

Kyle Rittenhouse has received more online criticism after the announcement of his new YouTube channel dedicated to weapons and Second Amendment rights. On October 16, the 19-year-old posted Welcome to My Channel, his debut video on the network, claiming that he had “some excellent material” coming ahead.

The 35-second video also had YouTuber Brandon Herrera, nicknamed the AK Guy, who seemed to provide him “tips” on how to create material for his audience. The AK Guy also shared a 19-minute video with Rittenhouse in which the two spoke about communism, the latter’s prison meal, and dealing with legal issues even after being freed of charges.

Rittenhouse said in the video titled The AK Guy and The Kenosha Kid:

“It’s been challenging. I still have legal costs to pay, and I’m hiring attorneys to assist me in defending myself.”

Kyle Rittenhouse shot two people during the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha in 2020.

Kyle Rittenhouse made headlines in August 2020 after fatally shooting two individuals and injuring another during Black Lives Matter protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Rittenhouse, then 17, used a semi-automatic rifle to defend himself as riots erupted after a white officer shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake seven times, leaving him gravely wounded. Rittenhouse fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum (36), Anthony Huber (26), and injured Gaige Grosskreutz (27). Two charges of murder, one count of attempted homicide, two counts of reckless endangerment, one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon, and one case of curfew violation were filed against the adolescent.

His attorneys contended that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense, and he was acquitted of all counts in November 2021. He quickly rose to prominence and began professing to be an advocate for gun rights.
