Lamor Whitehead Is Sued For $5 million By Glory Of God Global Ministry

Brooklyn Bishop Lamor Whitehead, 44, Leader of Future International Ministries, made the news after being sued for $5 million over disagreements with Glorious Global Ministries. Matters pertaining to property 5904 Foster Avenue of the Global Department of the Glory of God. The Brooklyn pastor’s congregation sued him a week ago, alleging that he tried to kick them out of the church. He was accused of preventing many members of the church from attending Sunday services.

He rose to fame after being robbed at his church in July 2022 and again in December, when he was jailed for fraud and extortion. Lamor Whitehead is facing multiple federal charges, including extortion, wire fraud and making false statements against one of his parishioners and a businessman.

Glorious Global Ministries sued Pastor Lamor Whitehead of Brooklyn for interfering with their Sunday prayers.

As stated before, Lamor Whitehead was once again in the spotlight when the Ministry of God’s Glory sued him for $5 million. The pastor is known for his lavish lifestyle, he is often seen driving a Rolls-Royce, wearing jewelry and luxurious clothes. Whitehead was served with a $5 million lawsuit last week in Canarsie. According to the complaint, Lamor Whitehead purchased the property at auction and then illegally changed the building’s locks just weeks before Christmas. As a result, many church members are unable to attend their Sunday services. According to the New York Post, in an isolated housing trial, a judge supported the group and allowed them to return to the land.

On the other hand, Glory of God Global Ministry has now sued Lamor Whitehead for $5 million, alleging that he breached contract when he tried to expel members from the establishment. The church also said it wanted the Brooklyn pastor to give up ownership of the land and be “permanently barred from ownership” of the structure.

Whitehead paid $1.94 million for the building in a foreclosure auction in February 2022. However, the church’s senior pastor challenged the tax debt that led to the foreclosure and insisted determined that the building was never assigned to the Bishop of Brooklyn. Whitehead is also charged with unlawfully occupying the building and without a formal court order, according to the lawsuit.

Prosecutors say Whitehead also defrauded members of his own church.

Pastor has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and has stated that any judgment regarding the housing court matter should be adjourned. Prosecutors accused Lamor Whitehead of defrauding members of his own congregation, the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministry.

Brian Ponder, his attorney, called the latest case “frivolous” and stated:
