Last in Line is a British rock band formed in 2012 by members of Dio’s original line-up, including former bandmates of Ronnie James Dio. After Dio’s death in 2010, guitarist Vivian Campbell, drummer Vinny Appice, bassist Jimmy Bain and keyboardist Claude Schnell reunited with vocalist Andrew Freeman.
They chose the band name from Dio’s 1984 album “The Last in Line”. The group performed Dio’s songs and released three original albums between 2016 and 2023. The first album, “Heavy Crown” (2016), was followed by “II” (2019) and “Jericho” (2023).
