Martin Sensmeier is an Alaskan and European-American actor from the United States. He rose to fame playing Native American characters like Wanahton in the critically acclaimed HBO’s Westworld. Sensmeier was born in Anchorage, Alaska, to Raymond and Eva Sensmeier in 1985, but grew up in Yakutat, Alaska. His father is German-Tlingit, while his mother is Koyukon-Athabascan, a native of Ruby, Alaska. He has always felt very attached to the culture of his native Alaskan grandparents.
