Regina Spektor, a Russian-American singer-songwriter, has canceled the rest of her 2022 tour dates due to “a severe case of Covid.” Spector, who began the tour on June 25 and was scheduled to end on October 27, had to cancel the ten remaining days of her fall tour.

Spector posted the following on Instagram:

“I contracted a nasty case of Covid after being very vigilant and miraculously avoiding it for almost 2.5 years.” I apologize to everyone who bought tickets to see me in their town. I went from feeling bad to feeling terrible. “I’m deaf.”

She continued, noting:

“I’m a bit out of my mind due to illness, so please accept my apologies if this message isn’t very coherent.” I’ve been going through a lot lately and all your support has been really helpful.
