RHOA alumnus Porsha Williams married her businessman fiance Simon Guobadia after a year of engagement. On Friday, November 25, the couple married in a traditional Nigerian ceremony in the presence of their loved ones. According to People, Simon and Porsha were married at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta in accordance with Nigerian national law and tradition. Traditional Benin singers and dancers perform at the couple’s wedding ceremony.
Their wedding was attended by more than 250 people, including various Bravolebrity. Guests are observed to wear traditional or formal Nigerian-inspired attire in purple and teal. Porsha Williams, another RHOA star, wore three outfits on her wedding day. Initially, she wears a red Lakimmy cape with a hood, then a blue cape and a gold Tabik cape. On Saturday, the couple will remarry in a ceremony in the US.

Simon Iyore Guobadia is a businessman and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Simcol Group and its subsidiaries. According to his official website, simonguobadia.com, Simon was born in Nigeria on June 2, 1964. Simon grew up in an upper-middle-class family with seven younger brothers. Stanley Guobadia worked for the Nigerian Prison Service and retired as an Assistant Prison Director.

Simon finished primary and secondary school in Nigeria. He studied for 5 years at Loyola College before transferring to Ughelli Government College in Delta State, Nigeria. He then dropped out of college and came to the United States in 1982, where he earned a BBA in accounting from the University of the District of Columbia in 1993. Simon began his work as a Certified Public Accountant at some famous enterprises all over the world. Then he left the corporate sector to set up his own business.
In 2007, he founded Simon & Company. Simcol Petroleum Limited Company, LLC, a gasoline supplier in Atlanta, Georgia, was subsequently incorporated. He is a first generation entrepreneur in the oil and gas industry. He has since expanded his company’s offerings to include movies, food and drink, entertainment, music and accommodation. He even invested in various businesses in Atlanta, including Barbecue restaurant, The Republic, DAS BBQ II, and others.
He previously worked with “Twelve Music and Publishing, KES Entertainment Group with music mogul Akon and Simon Paige Productions.” Simon has worked as an executive producer on films such as Jail House Dogs (2012), Ken Ford Live from the Buckhead Theater (2013) and Spike Lee (2020), among others. He was most recently married to Falynn Guobadia, a former member of RHOA. The couple got married in June 2019 but announced their divorce in April 2021.

After a month of dating, the couple became engaged in May 2021. When Simon married his “friend” Falynn in RHOA season 13, they met. Porsha’s past marriages include Kordell Stewart and Dennis McKinely. Porsha and Dennis have a three-year-old daughter named Pilar Jhena (“PJ”).
