Married at First Sight star Stacia Karcher recently admitted her divorce from boyfriend Nate Barnes. She confessed that they were divorced and separated. During the opening episode of Married at First Sight Nashville on Thursday night, Stacia informed host Kevin Frazier that Nate was no longer around and it was time for her to move on. Season 15 of Marriage at First Sight features Stacia Karcher and Nate Barnes. The couple previously made it to Decision Day and then stayed together. Although they love each other deeply, they also have their own disagreements and problems.
They encounter obstacles often but overcome them. It was revealed earlier this year, in November, that they were living among their neighborhoods. Nate thinks this is a better way to live. He lives in the city, while Stacia lives in the suburbs.
“I gave it time,” Stacia Karcher said of her divorce from Nate Barnes on Married at First Sight.
Stacia Karcher told host Kevin Frazier on the first episode of Married at First Sight Nashville,
“Nate is no longer among us. In fact, I’m divorced. Well, it’s past time to move on. All he promises to do on the show is just words. There is no movement at all.”
She continued,
“I gave it a while. I sit and wait. I waited patiently. I live with him so he has more time to see me as serious. I still want to be friends with you. I have no grudge against him. I have always, liked, admired him.
Stacia says that she and Nate have no future in a relationship and that their love is now more “friendship” than passionate love.
Kevin Frazier asked,
“Have you closed that door yet?”
Stacia replied,
“No, we’re not going back.”
Although Nate and Stacia said “I do” at the altar, chaos quickly ensued. The pair were seen bickering on camera during the reunion show last month. Nate didn’t think it was time for them to live together or have children. Stacia hopes to have a baby within a year. On the other hand, Nate thinks it will take at least a few years for them to form an emotional connection.
She appeared in the episode informing her mother,
“I asked to break up with Nate… So I assumed a divorce. I’m not sure. I joined the event wishing to go faster and be fine with it. I don’t believe anyone should go into this process thinking, ‘Oh sure, I want to marry this stranger, but now I want to take it slow.’ ‘OK, so why are we getting married?’ I think. Do I stay with someone who isn’t there and get anchored?
