Introduction to Teamfight Tactics
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is an auto battle arena game developed and published by Riot Games. Serving as a spin-off of League of Legends and inspired by Dota Auto Chess, TFT pits players against seven opponents in online matches, with the goal of being the last one standing.
In June 2019, Teamfight Tactics was first introduced as a game mode in League of Legends for Windows and macOS, TFT later became a standalone game available on Android and iOS on March 2020, offering cross-platform playability.
In TFT, players are provided with an eight-square chessboard and are randomly selected champions to choose from. They strategically place these champions on the board and can upgrade them to increase their power. Collecting items throughout the game allows players to equip their champions, further strengthening their power. The ultimate goal is to defeat the champions of other players through battles, in order to win the final victory.
TFT’s gameplay is both fast-paced and strategic, offering a relatively easy learning curve but requiring mastery to excel. With over 30 million players worldwide, it has gained immense popularity in the auto battler genre. The game boasts a number of notable features, including strategic gameplay that requires informed decision-making in champion selection, gearing, and positioning.
A range of more than 50 unique champions offering diverse options for team compositions and play styles. The inclusion of random elements ensures that each match is different and unpredictable, keeping players engaged. Furthermore, TFT supports both solo and multiplayer experiences, allowing players to connect, chat, and form friendships within the game’s social features.

Game Tactics Teamfight
Get ready for some thrilling Truth Arena (TFT) levels! This game is inspired by Dota Auto Chess and pits eight players against each other in an epic battle for victory.
Visualize a battlefield full of hexagons and players strategically align their units towards them on the board between rounds. Battles are fast and furious, with two players randomly paired in each round or facing computer-controlled enemies. Defeat your opponents for gold, units, and powerful items that can turn the tide in your favor.
The game is divided into stages and rounds. Each level has seven rounds (except the first), three of which are against computer-controlled enemies. Now, here’s where things get interesting—on the fourth round of each stage, we have a “Carousel” feature! It’s like a mini shopping spree where you can choose from alternately selected units with random items.
The players with the lowest health will get the money first, ensuring a fair chance for everyone. Oh, and don’t forget, in the final round of each level, prepare to take on cunning computer-controlled enemies!
Gold is your lifeline in TFT. Earn it in rounds and be wise with how you use it. Save it to profit and increase your earnings every round. Winning or losing multiple rounds in a row can also affect your earnings. With the hard earned gold you can return to units in your shop or buy experience points to level up.
The higher your level, the more units you can deploy on the board and believe me it can make a huge difference. Find additional copies of the same unit to upgrade them, increasing their health and attack damage. Talk about leveling up your squad!
Units in TFT have health and mana bars (with a few exceptions, of course). They take damage from enemy attacks and abilities, which reduces their health but increases their mana. When a unit’s health is zero, they are eliminated from the round. But when that energy bar is full, prepare yourself for a special ability to be unleashed. Some units can start with a bit of energy, but most start each round with a drum stick, so timing is everything.
Now, let’s talk about synergies — game-changing team compositions. Combining units with the same characteristics will activate synergy in your team’s favor. Traits can strengthen your allies, weaken your enemies, or unleash miscellaneous effects. There are many combinations to explore, and the right combination can give you the edge you need to dominate the battlefield.
Remember that TFT regularly updates its unit list to keep things fresh and interesting. Every three months, there will be a midterm update where certain traits and units are changed to keep the game balanced. And since TFT is a League of Legends game mode, patches follow its parent game’s numbering system.
