The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, a seven-part television miniseries, will be published on Prime Video on Friday, August 4, 2023. This suspenseful episode is based on Holly Ringland’s book of the same name. It follows the escape of a young girl who uncovers terrible mysteries in her mysterious family history. Sigourney Weaver, Asher Keddie, Leah Purcell, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frankie Adams, Alexander England, Charlie Vickers, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Sebastián Zurita, Alyla Browne and Xavier Samuel appear in The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. The trailer tells the story of the heroine Alice Hart (Alycia Debnam-Carey). She lives with her grandmother June Hart (Sigourney Weaver) when her parents are killed in a house fire. As the years passed, Alice turned from a child to an adult woman. However, Alice needs answers to questions regarding her disgusting past. She leaves her grandmother’s house in search of them, eventually uncovering some horrifying truths about her strange family and background. The play is set in Australia, where Holly Ringland, author of Alice Hart’s Lost Flowers, grew up.

Holly Ringland detailed the process of writing the novel in an interview with Absolutely Anything. She also discussed how her best friend Kate Gray has supported her.
Ringland said,
“I graduated in 2011, but it took me three and a half years to start writing Lost Flowers.” So there were a lot of stumbles about. I felt like I was wobbling, trying to regain my balance. Kate Gray, a great friend and American author, was one of the people who helped me get my legs back.”
She went on to explain what the book meant to her.
“Writing Lost Flowers is an attempt to tell the truth about my experiences, through Alice Hart’s story of what it’s like to have a rich imagination and seemingly endless emotions. like it’s about to swallow you,” she said.
She continued to say,
“And what it feels like to live with unspeakable trauma that casts a long shadow over your life, and how beautiful life is when we ask for help, when we allow people to love ourselves and that we can do more than everyone else has done for us.” “Those are the emotional truths I discovered.”
