Viewfinder Instruction Manual: Chapter 1, Level 1
Chapter 1, Level 1.1
You find yourself in a cluttered office with a toppled filing cabinet. There was a gramophone on the table at the entrance; Interact with each gramophone to discover more lore through soundbites. Walk through the office, jump over the overturned filing cabinet, and step out into the courtyard.
In the courtyard, there is a central island connected to the rest by wooden bridges. Make your way to the central island, select a photo there, and bring it out in front of you as prompted on the screen. Place the photo on the ground and step into it to interact with the teleporter.
Chapter 1, Level 1,2
Teleporting at this level requires three batteries to work. A battery is already available on the charging platform. Find the second battery on the left as you enter the level, lying on the floor. The third battery is hidden inside the photo to the right where you find the second battery.
Pick up the photo with the pin, rotate it to flatten the floor, and place it on the ground. Go into the photo to get the third battery. Now, with all three batteries, place them on the teleporter charging pad, powering it up. Interact with the teleporter to advance to the next level.
Chapter 1, Level 1.3
In this level you will find a single photo pasted into a blank canvas. Pick it up and rotate it as required. Place the photo on the ground, then step into it, turning the environment into 3D with a door and a teleporter inside. Enter the new space and next to the teleporter, there is another photo pasted into a blank canvas. Pick it up, rotate it to make the floor level and walkable, then put it on. Go to the photo to get the battery.
Now, you have the battery in front of you. Pick it up with the interactive button (E), place it on the teleporter’s charging pad and this will activate the teleporter. Interact with the teleporter to go to the next level.

Use another photo to cut into the room, pick up the battery and place it on the charging pad. Interact with the teleporter to go to the next level.

Go down some stairs and get the picture taped to the canvas. Arrange the photo to get closer to the teleporter without damaging it. Keep selecting the photo and placing it until the simulation crashes, bringing you back outside the simulation. Go into the hall and into the server room, where you need to turn off and then re-enable all six buttons. Then go back to the simulation and complete the puzzle with the recursive image.

Go to the bathroom of the center to find the optional puzzle terminal. In this optional puzzle, take the photo from the table inside the floating living room. Rotate it so the ivy rests on the floor, then place the photo stepping into it, falling off the edge where the ivy stops. At the bottom of this photo, there will be a board with another photo on it. Pick it up, rotate it until the paintbrush is on the floor, and set it to step on it. This will lead you to a teleporter and you can take the cart to the next hub.
