Where to find Ganondorf in Tears Of The Kingdom?
Ganondorf can be placed below Hyrule Castle, especially in the Depths located at the bottom. This location serves as the starting point for the quest known as Tears of the Kingdom. To find the entrance to Ganondorf’s lair, you can use the coordinates (-0230, 0868, 0123). There are many steps involved in approaching Ganon in the quest Tears of the Kingdom and it is essential to start by landing below Hyrule Castle to the south of it.
To get there easily, use the Skyview Landing Observation Tower. From there, you can glide down to the Gatehouses located on the lower level of Hyrule Castle. Before embarking on this journey, you should craft an ample supply of Stamina Elixir and recipes that provide resistance to Gloom. By ensuring that you are regularly replenished with these resources, you will be able to get to Ganondorf regardless of your character’s level.
Once you’ve reached the castle and found yourself standing on the ledge, it’s time to jump into the vast cavern below. You will need to dive and drift downwards until you reach a point known as Gloom’s Approach. It is at this point that the real path to the game’s most important battle begins.

Once you’ve successfully slid to the bottom of Gloom’s Approach below Hyrule Castle, it’s important to turn around and face south. If needed, refer to the abyss marker on your map to make sure you’re on the right track. Just south of your landing spot, you’ll come across another small cave entrance guarded by Like Like.
Proceed by running towards this entrance and gliding down. It’s important to note that most of the areas covered in this guide will require a combination of sliding, climbing, and encountering Gloom and formidable enemies. This particular cave will have two holes at the bottom and it doesn’t matter which one you choose.
As soon as you glance through one of the holes, you’ll come across three electric Keeses. Don’t worry too much about them as they cause minimal damage. However, they have the potential to make you dizzy. To minimize any risks, quickly flip through them. Then head towards the nearby ledge and use your glider to reach the broken bridge on the left side.
Be cautious, as falling into this area will result in a devastating blow from the central enemy in the arena. Even missing a single jump resulted in instant death for me. It is imperative to reach this entrance without succumbing to defeat at the bottom in order to progress further on the road to Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom.
After passing Keese and progressing to the next section of the path, you’ll encounter a brief respite from the enemies. Run through the dark corridor until you reach a room where debris is falling. Jump on the shard that is farthest to the right and use the Recall ability. This will take you to the next area, which acts like an elevator. Take a moment to gather here, as the road ahead is only getting more dangerous.
Upon leaving the wreckage, another path lay ahead, leading to another fall. Yes, it may come as a surprise, but the path continually leads to more abysses. Rest assured, it doesn’t stop. Aim to land out of the shadows and prepare for another treacherous stretch of road ahead.
Defeat Ganondorf TOTK Quest
Players can perform the main quest “Destroy Ganondorf” in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom after they obtain the Master Sword and talk to Purah in Lookout Landing. This quest involves the challenging quest to find and defeat the Demon King, Ganondorf.
As players embark on this endeavor, they may encounter various obstacles and difficulties. To assist them in overcoming these challenges, this guide provides valuable guidance. Before embarking on the quest to Destroy Ganondorf, players should prepare a few things. Here are some key preparations to consider:
Gloom Healing Foods: It is important to have an ample supply of foods that can heal Gloom’s heart. These dishes can be created by cooking Sundelion with meat, fruit or herbs. During the quest, the player should be ready to consume these recovery foods regularly.
Shields: You should have a full inventory of shields in Tears of the Kingdom, as the player has the ability to break multiple shields during an intense battle with Ganondorf.
Anti-gloom: Gaining anti-gloom can be beneficial for specific parts of the quest. This resistance can be obtained through the food Gloom Resistance or by using the Depths Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom. However, it’s important to note that it’s possible to counter Gloom by relying solely on healing foods for Gloom, making Gloom Resistance an optional pick.
ganondorf
Ganon, the main antagonist in Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda video game series, is a fictional character known for his wickedness and formidable presence. He first appeared in the original game, The Legend of Zelda, released in 1986, and has since become a recurring character in the series.
Ganon is depicted as a large and powerful being who was originally the leader of the Gerudo, a humanoid race that lived in the desert, before turning into a demon ruler. In his human form, known as Ganondorf, he possesses the ability to change his appearance through magic.
While Ganon’s specific motives vary from game to game, his overall goal is to capture Princess Zelda of Hyrule, a recurring setting in the series, while also conquering Hyrule and the world. To achieve these goals, he relentlessly pursues the Triforce, a powerful artifact capable of granting any wish.
Ganon often manipulates other villains in his quest for power. Normally, he wields the Triforce of Power, granting him immense strength, formidable mystical abilities, and near invulnerability, with the exception of sacred weapons such as the Master Sword. In addition to games, Ganon has appeared in various forms of media and merchandise, including an animated television series, comic book adaptations, and Amiibo figurines.
He has also featured in spin-offs like Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity, as well as the Super Smash Bros.
