Who is Dan and Shay Replacing on The Voice?

Dan + Shay, the country duo set to become The Voice’s first-ever coaching duo in Season 25, stepped in as replacements for Niall Horan in Season 24. Niall, a coach for Team Niall, had to miss Knockouts rehearsals due to his tour schedule. To fill this gap, Dan + Shay, who were originally slated to join the coaching panel in the following season, graciously took on the coaching responsibilities for Niall’s team during his absence.

Their early appearance served as good practice for the duo, giving them a chance to mentor contestants and provide valuable insights before officially taking on the coaching role in Season 25. The move was necessitated by Niall’s temporary hiatus from the show, and Dan + Shay seamlessly integrated into the coaching dynamics, showcasing their talent and adaptability. As Season 25 coaches, they are set to bring a fresh perspective and make history as the first duo to join The Voice’s coaching panel full-time in the upcoming spring of 2024.
