While Frenkel is from New York, she moved to Barcelona in 2010 to study creative writing and art history as part of the Oxbridge Academic Program. She went to Italy two years later to study at the Skilled University of Florence, where she took a summer cooking course in cooking and related culinary arts. During her studies, she learned how to create regional Italian food, as well as the history of each region.
She later attended George Washington University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in arts and organizational science. Including her internship, the cast of The Bachelor has nearly a decade of experience working in a variety of fields, including public relations and marketing.
