Making the Cut, Amazon Studios’ extremely competitive fashion reality program, will return on August 19 at 2:35 a.m. ET. The show is returning for another season to identify another “great worldwide fashion company.” The exhibition will highlight ten emerging designers and entrepreneurs who are poised to take their companies worldwide. Making the Cut will be shot in Los Angeles, with notable locales such as Rodeo Drive and Vasquez Rocks included. The designers will even perform on top of one of Downtown’s buildings. The winner will get a $1 million prize as well as assistance from Amazon Fashion to help them advance their business path. Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, from Project Runway, will return as hosts and executive producers this season.

“I relocated to Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Science in Sales and Marketing from the prestigious HBC Tuskegee University.” When I was 18, I launched my first company, tie dying and decorating denim and selling handmade jewelry out of my dorm room.”

Chyanne had worked in the fashion business for numerous years, but it was while working for Amazon that she discovered she wasn’t pleased with merely styling and wanted to be a designer instead. Ciara Chyanne Morgan launched her podcast Fashioned In Faith in 2019 and shared her story with the world, discussing how she frequently felt intensely the absence of a mentor in the profession. She sought to be herself on her podcast, commenting about things she was most knowledgeable about. The podcast also provides services and tools to assist other self-taught designers in their education.

The Making the Cut competitor is no stranger to fame. Her creations have been worn by Elaine Welteroth and Liza Koshy, and she has been featured in Essence magazine. Ciara was also awarded the She’s Next In Fashion award in 2022. Curtis Cassel, Emily Bargeron, Gabriella Meyer, Georgia Hardinge, Jeanette Limas, Rafael Chaouiche, Sienna Li, and Yannik Zamboni are among the other designers participating in Making the Cut Season 3. Sara Rea, Sue Kinkead, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, and Jennifer Love serve as executive producers.
