The Next Level Chef will return for a second season on FOX after Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 10:30 p.m. ET. However, the show will return to its regular time slot on Thursday, February 16, at 8 p.m. ET. Three world-renowned chefs, Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais, will compete in the culinary competition as mentors to 18 outstanding chefs divided into teams of three. Shay Spence, a food and travel writer, social media developer, and consultant will join Season 2 of Next Level Chef. While he’s made a career writing about food and travel, he’s still passionate about it. However, that was not the case when he first started. He attended Tulane University as a student, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government in 2012. The cast of Next Level Chef season 2 also worked as an assistant editor before landing a position as food editor for People Magazine, where he stayed for six years until leaving in 2021. He often uses the site to share food and travel related information, including recipes inspired by other famous dishes or created by him.
