Mark Sheehan, a guitarist, has just died aged 46. He is best known as the co-founder of Irish rock band The Script, which shared a photo of himself on Facebook. their official Instagram page to mark his untimely death. Notes are as follows:
“Mark Sheehan, much-loved husband, father, brother, bandmate and friend, passed away today in hospital after a brief illness.” During this difficult time, the family and team ask that fans respect their privacy.”
Mary Lambert, a singer, also paid tribute to Sheehan on Facebook, posting a photo of herself with Sheehan and two other members of the band. She said the band asked her to open for them in 2015. She went on to say:
“Mark is breathtakingly beautiful, kind and a literal beacon of light.” My deepest condolences to all those who loved and cared for him. Mark, you will be missed.
The official Sony Music Australia Facebook page also expressed grief over Sheehan’s passing, describing him as a composer, skilled guitarist and founding member of The Script. The three children of Mark and his wife, Rina Sheehan, survived him.

Rina originally met Mark Sheehan in the United States, when she was the lead vocalist of The Script. The couple married in 2005 and had their first child, Cameron, in 2008. They eventually had a baby girl named Avery, then a boy named Lil. Mark told The Mirror in 2008 that he was producing and working with several studios while Rina was a studio vocalist and backup vocalist. He continued:
“And we just click the way you do.” We got married three years ago and are expecting our first child.”

Mark started his career as a member of MyTown.
Mark Sheehan was born on October 29, 1976 in the southern inner city of the Liberties. He started his career as a member of the band MyTown formed in 1996. Tony Dunne, Paul Walker and Terry Daly are among the other members. Tony eventually left the band and moved to the United States with his childhood friend, Danny O’Donoghue. The group then began composing and producing songs for other music business figures. They were eventually joined by drummer Glen Power, leading to the formation of The Script.

Mark declined to join the band on their Great Hits tour last year. Danny believes it’s because his family needs him right now. Danny mentioned in an interview with Sunday World:
“He was the driving force behind The Script for such a long time that I said to him, ‘If you want to spend some time with your family, you are very welcome and I strongly recommend that you do. that.’ “
Their first album, The Script, was published in 2008, followed by five more in 2019. Additionally, they have released 22 singles, four EPs, and two compilation albums.
