The Creator Plot

In 2055, an artificial intelligence (AI) sets off a nuclear bomb over Los Angeles. Western nations fight against AI to save humanity, but New Asia supports AI. Joshua Taylor, a soldier, is revealed as an undercover agent. His wife, Maya, is hit by an attack, and Taylor is led to believe she is alive and can be found if he helps destroy a new AI weapon called “Alpha O.”

Taylor discovers a girl with the power to control technology, named Alphie. Despite orders, he spares her and seeks his former commander, Drew. Alphie’s abilities grow, and they learn Maya was wrongly blamed for the earlier attack. Taylor and Alphie are captured by New Asian forces, led by Harun. They escape, but Alphie is gravely wounded. Taylor finds Maya in a coma tended to by simulant monks.

Distressed, Taylor disconnects Maya from life support. U.S. forces capture them, and Taylor is forced to fake Alphie’s death. They land on NOMAD, where Alphie stops an attack. Taylor plants explosives, but Andrews, a military leader, tries to stop him. Taylor ejects with Alphie, and NOMAD explodes, ending the war. Taylor spends his last moments with a simulant of Maya, created by Alphie, while Alphie returns to Earth.
