Halloween Baking Championship: What to Expect
Competitors in this holiday-themed baking contest will battle to create unique, fun sweets that will surprise and delight the judges at the same time. The bakers will compete for eight weeks while staying at the hotel. Each episode of the show will include 2 challenges in which these Halloween fans must make certain themed recipes. To impress the three judges, they’ll need to make a cake with the face in the first episode, Welcome to Hotel Henson, followed by a cake with blood stains. First volume summary reads:
“When host John Henson brought 12 Halloween aficionados to the Henson Hotel and instructed them to make faces in a cake, no body part was safe. Then it was blood in blood as they used bloodshot cakes to dazzle judges Stephanie Boswell, Zac Young and Carla Hall.
Similarly, in episode two, Croquem-boots, competitors had to turn croquembouche into croquem-boots and make cat-sized desserts to celebrate Puss in Boots. The Halloween Baking Championship will consist of six one-hour episodes and two two-hour mega-episodes.
The baker who survived the horrifying and discarded motel will receive a $10,000 prize as well as a tour of ten of America’s most haunted mansions. Marcus Brackett, Jill Davis, AJ DeDiego, Kristi Descher, Justin Dominguez, Lola Forbes, Margarita Garcia, Alexey Ivanov, Zac Mercer, Lauren Rogers, Maricsa Trejo and Blayre Wright are 12 candidates competing in this heart-pounding challenge.
