Season 1 of Hulu’s Chefs vs. Wild will air on September 26. A show that combines food and outdoor will be well received by the culinary industry. The event will be presented by celebrity chef and adventurer Kiran Jethwa, who also hosts and presents the TV show Tales From The Bush Larder, which focuses on Africa’s food culture.

Kiran Jethwa, 46 years old, is a famous chef, restaurateur and business owner. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management in Manchester, he traveled the world honing his culinary skills, visiting Italy, France, South Africa, Southeast Asia, South and Central America and Australia. African, European and Indian food inspires Chefs vs. Wild. His cooking techniques are characterized as a blend of African-Mediterranean and Indian flavors.
Kiran has been the chef and owner of Seven Restaurant Ltd., one of Nairobi’s finest restaurant businesses, since 2011. Seafood & Grill and Seven Lounge & Grill are part of it. Within four years, the eatery had become the most popular dining establishment in Kenya’s cosmopolitan city. He has also appeared in a number of television series. In 2016, he co-hosted Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped with Jimmy Doherty, Kate Quilton and Matt Tebbutt. He is a judge on The Great Kenyan Bake Off, the Kenyan counterpart of KTN Home of The Great British Bake Off.

He has also won several awards during his career. In 2012, he was named a Finalist for Taste Chef of the Year, and in 2013 he was named a Finalist for Taste Chef of the Year. In 2013, he was named an Industry Winner of Flavors and Chefs Delight: Most Innovative Chef. Tales From The Bush Larder, an international Fox television show, was his spectacular freshman debut.
